The outer edge of these unusual gutters, extends high and even higher than the roof drip edge;  thus typical gutter screens and gutter covers won't fit or work properly.

The high front edge of the gutter, provides a slick and straight appearance to these prefabricated rooms.  Its not a very good gutter design, but the speed and ease of GutterBrush installation will keep the gutter from clogging.

Challenging Gutters - Prefabricated Rooms

Carports, Lanais, Sunroom and Patio Room Gutters

With prefabricated structures such as four season rooms, sun rooms, patio rooms, patio covers, Lanais, and even metal buildings, all components are pre-made in the factory and assembled on site.   For this reason, the building components are more of a "one size fits all" scenario.   Gutters on prefabricated structures, are made to be strong and they are made to be aesthetically pleasing.  The front edge of the gutter is  abnormally high, so that when you are looking at the structure, you see the very straight and neat appearance of the gutter, which designed intentionally in this fashion to hide any issues with the roof.  With these structures, they prioritize the appearance, over the gutter function. Good building and gutter design would normally call for the front edge of the gutter to be lower than the back edge of the gutter so that if or when the patio room gutter or the car port gutter clogs, the water would pour over the front edge of the gutter.  Unfortunately, these prefabricated structures most often have gutters which the front edge of the gutter is much higher than the back edge such that if or when the gutter clogs, it is likely to overflow back into the room rather than over the front edge.   Additionally, very often the roof panel drip edge is left extra long, such that you can not even fit your hand in there to clean the gutter.   Retrofitting these gutters with a typical  common gutter guard, screen, or cover, would require installation below the drip edge which would tend to also require custom fastening which makes holes, as well as a configuration which would trap  leaves and debris up on the roof.  Customers regularly turn to GutterBrush for a simple solution that keeps the gutter from clogging, is easy to install and easy to maintain.

Typical available common gutter protection solutions are not created for this type of gutter.  Customers rely on GutterBrush when they need gutter clog protection and they have patio enclosure gutters, sun room gutters, car port gutters, four season room gutters, solarium gutters, Lanai gutters, screen room gutters, patio room gutters, prefabricated room gutters, 4 season room gutters, carport gutters, metal building gutters, and other unique and challenging gutters.   GutterBrush has 5 different sizes.  The actual diameters of GutterBrush are 3.25", 4.25", 5.25" 6.25" and 8".    Measure your gutter today, or order a sample pack which includes 3 different sizes in one box.   Sample boxes come in residential sizes (smp-res) or commercial sizes (smp-com)

Video Description:  This video explains how this type of prefabricated room has gutters with unusual characteristics which make it impossible to fit with a common gutter screen or gutter guard.

Video TranscriptionHi, my name is Alex from Gutterbrush.  Prefabricated rooms and structures such as sunrooms, Lanais,  Patio Enclosures and CarPorts have very unusual gutters.  Owners of these gutters struggle with gutter clogs because the typical common gutter screens and common gutter guard covers don't fit this strange gutter design.  Structures such as Four Seasons rooms,Sun rooms, Patio rooms, Lanais, Car Ports and even Metal Buildings all have components that are pre-made in the factory and assembled on site.  For this reason,  the building components are more of a one-size-fits-all scenario resulting in a very strange and unusual gutter design  that poses many difficulties.  Gutters on prefabricated structures are made to be strong and they're made predominantly to be aesthetically pleasing.  The front edge of the gutter is abnormally high so when you're looking at the structure you see the very straight and neat appearance of the gutter, which is designed intentionally in this fashion to hide any visible issues with the roof and the structure.  With these structures,  they prioritize appearance over the gutter function.  Good building and gutter design would normally call for the front edge of the gutter to be lower than the back edge of the gutter so that if or when the patio room gutter clogs,  the water would pour over the front edge of the gutter.  Unfortunately these structures most  often have gutters which the front edge of the gutter is much higher than the back edge such that when the gutter clogs, it's likely to overflow back into the room.  Additionally,  very often the roof panel  drip edge is left extra long such that you can't even fit your hands into the gutters to clean them.  Due to these unusual design features,  the typical common gutter screens and gutter guard covers do not fit.   People with these types of gutters regularly turn to GutterBrush for a simple solution that keeps the gutter from clogging.  It's easy to install and easy to maintain so get your sizing samples to see which size of GutterBrush best fits your gutter.   Thanks very much!
